About Us
In 1976, OMS Oilfield Services (OMS) opened its first machine shop in Southeast Asia embarking on a program to develop proprietary products and services providing Oil Country Tubular Good (OCTG) repair, manufacture and recertification to the oil and gas industry. Over the years OMS has become one of the largest single operators of machine shops in Southeast Asia with 10 facilities in 7 countries with its largest facility in Singapore.

OMS has earned its reputation and recognition by many proprietary thread licensors as their preferred licensee through the years. OMS is dedicated to maintain its highest standard of quality and services in meeting customers' demands as OMS view it as the essential to their success. OMS has been granted with API Q1 and Quality Management System certification by ISO 9001:2008. We are also proud to be awarded by VAM for the Best Overall VAM Licensee 2008 which underlines the company's commitment to continuous improvement and total customer satisfaction.

The OMS facility is equipped with full range of work shop machine which include the latest CNC lathe machine and welding equipment that produce a broad range of oilfield accessories and services to meet the specific location operators need such as:

Company History

The timeline below outlined generally the development of the OMS Group

1976 Tri-State Oil Tool established a major machine shop facility in Singapore.
This was the beginning of the company's history starting from SE Asia.

1989 The company become Antah Oiltools.

1997 The business was re-organized to be part of the Oiltools Group.

2005 Ths Oiltools Group subsequently separated the oilfield business and machine shop operations. The machine shop operations were renamed OMS Oilfield Services.

2007 Scomi Engineering acquired the company naming it as Scomi OMS Oilfield Services.

2010 The company was acquired by Sumitomo Corporation and retained its name of OMS Oilfield Services.

2011 Group turnover crossed US$100m mark for the first time.
